Deer Skull Linen Pillow

Deer Skull Linen Pillow

Deer Skull Pillow features an image of a deer skull printed on linen with hand-painted feathers. The pillow celebrates the close relationship between Native Americans and deer. Deer skulls and antlers were often used in ceremonies by tribal shamans. Nearly every part of the deer was used for both spiritual and practical reasons. Deer meat provided nourishment, the hides made clothing, moccasins, and pouches, and sinew for rope or twine. Antlers and bones were used to make knife handles and spoons, for buttons and fine sewing needles. Pillow is made in linen with 3-inch deer suede fringe and polyester pillow form.
