Chief Skirt is a wrap skirt in supple deer suede. Hand-painted with the stunning Sitting Bull story that is a fun interpretation of the enormous contributions Native American Indians have made to our culture - contributions Patricia loves to celebrate and promote. This wrap skirt echoes the primitive use of handcrafted deer hides by Native peoples, reimagined in a contemporary, wearable work of art. Hand-cut "baby fringe" around the hem adds movement. The wrap overlaps 12 inches and ties with a twisted leather cord and Velcro that is quite adjustable and makes for a secure closure. Length falls 30 inches to the mid calf.
