Buffalo Prayer Pillow features an illustration printed on leather. The image is a young Indian maiden holding a buffalo skull to the sky and praying for a successful buffalo hunt. This photograph was taken by renown photographer, Keith Carter. The clothing worn by the model were Patricia Wolf designs and provided to Mr. Carter for the photo shoot. The beautiful model is Native American actress Jackie Old Coyote. Keith Carter shot this photograph in black and white and the photo was then beautifully hand tinted in color by Texas artist, Cheryl Long. A panorama of a brilliant desert sunrise erupts in the background. Made in soft & pliable cowhide leather with 3 inch chocolate deerskin fringe. Antiqued nickel silver studs and lacing frame the image. Backed in faux suede.
